Aveling & Porter "Mendip Star" Showmans engine. 1914. 3 Nominal horse power. This engine started life as a 6 ton compound road roller reg. number NM244 and build number 8432. At a date unknown the roller moved from Woburn Abbey to a contractor in Gloucestershire. The roller then moved down to Somerset which is when the name 'Mendip Star' was introduced. From Somerset, the roller headed to Cornwall where is was sold in an auction for £3000 to a well known collector W.F. Lobb. This is when the roller was converted to showmans form with dynamo and lights. During the rebuild the firebox and smokebox tubeplates were replaced, this was believed to be in 1980 when the boiler test certificate was issued in 1996. At this point the engine was in ownership of Mr A.W.T. Sanders of Bow. A further report was done by Farncare (Ian Farrance) in 2006. Since the 2006 inspection is not known to have any use and has been dry stored the entire time. S/No. 8432. Reg. Rare MG Double sided illuminated light box. Very original. C.1940s. The box is made from copper, to prevent corrosion when it was hung up outside a dealership. Believed to be the only one known in existence. - MG 12" x 28½"

Vincent Rapide/Black Shadow motorcycle. C.1957. 1000cc Frame No. RC6934 (V5 states RC 9519BE) Engine No. F10AB/1/B7619 (V5 states 7019) Property of a deceased estate, this bike has been in the same family for the last 45 years. Engine turns over with compression and was last run in 2019 since when it has been dry stored so will require recommissioning. The frame is believed to be a Rapide frame fitted with a Black Shadow engine. Crank case numbers are matching and read UU19. It comes with a large quantity of spare parts to include mudguards, exhaust parts, bearings, chains, number plate bracket and carburettor parts. Reg. KTM 508. V5 and Key
