Wallis-J.A.P Speedway motorcycle. 1931 Frame - Wallis DT (England), an updated version of the original Wallis Engine - J.A.P 500cc 'dog ear', short four, twin port, 33.5 bhp and 5700 rpm. Engine No. JOS/H 16024/E Carburettor - Amal, twin float Fuel - RD1 Wal Phillips redesigned the original Wallis frame as shown in this example. The heightened first 3 letters of the Wallis tank logo denoted his input. When fitted with the new DT J.A.P engine, it made a formidable combination.
