Rickman Metisse frame (There is a certificate of authenticity from Metisse stated 1973) which was to be fitted with a Norton engine. At some point, this bike was purchased by Phil Lingham of Canterbury who tuned and fitted a 920cc Norton Commando engine, where he rode it at Lydden race track in Kent to great success. When current owner purchased, the bike was in poor state of repair, the frame had a hairline crack where the oil in frame leaked. Frame repaired, re-nickel plated, 750cc Norton Atlas engine fitted and nut and bolt strip and rebuild. New Magnesium 5 speed Norvin racing gearbox. All other components, wheels, brakes, cables, carburettors have been renewed or refurbished. Maintained and cleaned, dry stored inside house, turned over every 6 months with plugs out on a rolling road. Started but not ridden since rebuild. Overall excellent condition.
